GYMSTARS - YEAR 1 

GYMSTARS, our new program developed specifically for our Year 1 kids to transition from Gymfun to our Jnr Classes (GYMSKILLS & CLUB LEVELS) or as a new starter class for our kids in Year 1  at school.  This class continues to work towards developing independence, socialisation, following instructions, building self confidence and an enjoyment of physical activity. Along with basic gymnastic skill and gross motor development, safe play for the school yard and development for a wide variety of sport. 
The 75 minute long GYMSTAR class will consist of fun and games, shaping, and circuit based gymnastic activities. The aim of the class is to give boys and girls a fun, basic introduction to gymnastic skills delivered in a friendly, safe environment and age appropriate manner. A fun aerobic warm up is conducted to music at the start of each class and games are played at the end of each session to warm up/down and to reinforce shapes or movement patterns focused on in the lesson. Each week the children complete all 6 apparatus: Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, Tumble Track & Tramp. Circuits are designed to allow children to progress at their own rate with options for differing abilities or gymnastics experience.
All children participating in our GYMSTAR program must be Gymnastics NSW Members.

TERM 3  2024 SCHEDULE
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:00-5:15pm
Saturday: 9:30-10:45am
Cost (per class): $280 for a 10-week term 
+ $80 Gymnastics NSW 2024 Annual Membership & Affiliation Fee (once yearly payment) 
​​Term 3 Commences Monday 22nd July Concludes Saturday 28th September.

We are an Active Kids Provider.
