GYMSKILLS (GS) is a Gymnastics Australia initiative providing children the basic building blocks to succeed in more advanced Gymnastics but also developing kids for all future sport and physical activity. GYMSKILLS is a 1.5hr recreational class for children in Year 2-4 developing, body awareness, social skills, creativity and confidence in a fun, challenging and energetic way. GYMSKILLS is a perfect class for a beginner, however, also caters for those with previous gymnastics experience. Classes aim to foster friendship, fun, creativity, coordination, fitness, flexibility, strength, balance and body & spatial awareness. Participants will learn skills on traditional gymnastics apparatus; vault, bars, beam, floor, tramp and tumble track.
All children participating in our GYMSKILLS programs must be current Gymnastics NSW Members.
GYMSKILL PLUS: This new class is for gymnasts in Year 3 and above, who have progressed through our Recreational Program, have a natural affinity for learning gymnastics skills or have previously been a part of our Club Levels or Squad program but no longer wish to compete/grade. Skills developed will include (but are not limited to) Handsprings and other rotational skills on Tramp/Vault/Tumble Track, Pullovers/ Back hip circles/Dismounts on bars, Handstands, Cartwheels & Rolls on beam, and Round Offs, Walkovers and Handsprings on Floor.

Cost: $350 (one class per week - 10 week term) + $85 Gymnastics NSW 2025 Annual Membership & Affiliation Fee (once yearly payment) Anadditionalclassperweekisavailableathighlydiscountedrate. Term 2 Commences Monday 28th April and concludes Saturday 5th July The gym will be closed on Monday 9th June for the Public Holiday and Term fees will be pro-rated to reflect this closure.
We are an Active Kids Provider. These vouchers can be used on Term fees, Holiday Programs or Registration.
