​GYMFUN - KINDERGARTEN

GYMFUN (GF) is a Gymnastics Australia (GA) initiative providing young boys and girls the basic building blocks to succeed in more advanced Gymnastics but also developing kids for all future sport and physical activity. This class is designed to work towards independence, socialisation, following instructions, gross motor development, basic gymnastic skill development, building self-confidence and enjoyment of physical activity.
GF is also the perfect class to start in for children with no previous experience as it starts with the most basic shapes and movement patterns and progress through at a rate that suits each child individually. It also acts as an extension to our participants who have already passed through our Kindergym program.

GYMFUN is for children in Kindergarten at school. 

Each 55-minute-long GYMFUN class will consist of fun and games, basic stretches, and circuit based gymnastic activities. The aim of the class is to give children a fun, basic introduction to gymnastic skills delivered in a friendly, age appropriate manner. A fun aerobic warm up is conducted to music at the start of each class and games are played throughout the session, to reinforce shapes or movement patterns focused on, in the lesson. Each week the children complete four apparatus circuits, covering all 6 apparatus (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, Tumble Track, Tramp) in a fortnight. Circuits are designed to allow children to progress at their own rate, whilst being able to participate with their friends.

All children participating in our GYMFUN program must be Gymnastics NSW Members.

TERM 3 & 4  2026 SCHEDULE
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 4:00-4:55pm 
Saturday: T3 9:45-10:40am x Term 4 time change to 9:30-10:25am
Cost:  $270 (one class per week - 10 week term)
+ $90 Gymnastics NSW 2026 Annual Membership & Affiliation Fee (once yearly payment) 

Term 3 Concludes Saturday 26th September 
​Term 4 commences Monday 12th October and Concludes Saturday 19th December
