Club Levels is a fun, recreational class which focuses on teaching technically correct gymnastics for gymnasts who would like to participate in non-competitive gradings and progress through our In-Club Levels program, a modified version of the Gymnastics Australia, Australian Levels Program. The Club Levels program runs in conjunction with our Squad programs, allowing easy transition both directions, for those who want more or less commitment to Routine based gymnastics training. The start of the term usually focuses on skill development on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor and the latter end, on learning and perfecting routines to be assessed at a relaxed and enjoyable End of Term Grading Day. Gymnasts can earn ribbons and medals as they pass through the system to reward them for their achievements at each level. All new gymnasts start at Level 1 Silver unless they have prior experience in a Levels based program.
CLUB LEVELS classes start with an active warm up and cover all apparatus (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, Tramp/Tumble Track) throughout each lesson. Classes aim to improve all aspects of gymnastics and athletic ability including skill development, coordination, fitness, flexibility, strength, posture, balance and body & spatial awareness.
We highly encourage all gymnasts in a level 4 and above to train two sessions per week to allow safe and confident progression of the more difficult skills. Gymnasts in Level 1-3 attending multiple sessions will also see substantial improvements!
All children participating in our CLUB LEVELS programs must be current Gymnastics NSW Members
